Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Note: Cool the shaft before pressing bearing onto the shaft.
Apply Tooling (B) to the outside of shaft (4) .
Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press. Position bearing (6) and press into retainer (5) and onto shaft (4) .
Install bolts (7) and plate (8) into shaft (4). Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft).

Install shaft assembly (1) and bolts (2) into fan drive bracket (3). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 5 lb ft).End By: Install the fan drive.
