Alignment Of Sprocket:
1. The location of sprocket (8) is to be in the center of rear track roller (5). Clearance (10) is to be the same as clearance (12).2. The change in location of rear track roller (5) to sprocket (8) is made by the installation or removal of shims (3) in final drive support.3. Remove cap (1) from outer bearing assembly (4). Remove lock ring (7), nut (2) and retainer assembly (9). Install shims (3), between retainer assembly (9) and holder assembly (11) of final drive, to move track roller frame (6) out, to increase clearance (10). This will decrease clearance (12).4. Remove shims (3), from between retainer assembly (9) and holder assembly (11), to move track roller frame (6) in, to decrease clearance (10). This will increase clearance (12).5. After an adjustment is made, the parallel alignment of the roller frames must be checked. Install or remove shims (3) in final drive support so that center of sprocket (8) is not more than .06 in. (1.5 mm) from center of rear track roller (5). Use the least number of shims possible and not more than seven shims per side.
