A 1P-1857 Retaining Ring Pliers 1 Start By:
Remove the gear pump (Hydraulic Fan). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Gear Pump (Hydraulic Fan) - Remove and Install".

Remove O-ring seal (1) and two elbows (2) from gear pump (3).

Place the gear pump on suitable cribbing and remove adapter (4). Remove four bolts (5) in order to remove plate (6) from housing (7).

Remove two dowels (8), seal (9) and pressure plate (10) from housing (7).

Remove seal (11) and backup seal (12) from pressure plate (10).

Remove gear shaft (13) and idler gear (14) from housing (7).

Remove pressure plate (15) from housing (7). Refer to step 4 in order to remove the seals.

Remove housing (7) from flange (16).

Use a suitable pin punch in order to remove lip seal (19) from flange (16). Use tool (A) and remove two rings (20). Use the pin punch to remove lip seal (21).
