Remove hoist cylinders.
Remove tail gate (scissor).
Personal injury or death can result from improper lifting or blocking.When a hoist or jack is used to lift any part or component, stand clear of the area. Be sure the hoist or jack has the correct capacity to lift a component. Install blocks or stands before performance of any work under a heavy component.Approximate weights of the components are shown. Clean all surfaces where parts are to be installed.

Disconnect sensor assembly (1) from the truck body and set to the side.

If necessary, disconnect grease line assemblies (2). Remove all clips connecting grease lines assemblies (2) to the frame.

If necessary, disconnect grease line assemblies (3). Remove bolt assemblies (2).

Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and a suitable lifting device to truck body (7). The weight of a standard truck body with no attachments is approximately 4781 kg (10540 lb). Take up the tension in order to relieve the pressure on pin assembly (4).
Use Tooling (C) in order to remove pin assembly (4). Note: Note the location of any shims for assembly purposes.
Repeat Step 5 for the opposite side of truck body (5). Remove truck body (5). Installation Procedure
Install truck body (5) in the reverse order of removal.
