When submitting claim for Parts Stock Action, Use the appropriate 99Z as the s/n, the appropriate Service Letter Program Number as the Part number in the Part Causing Failure field, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Description Code.
The information supplied in this service letter may not be valid after the termination date of this program.Do not perform the work outlined in this Service Letter after the termination date without first contacting your Caterpillar product analyst.

PROBLEM
Certain 20R7175 and 20R7176 Reman Auxiliary Pump Groups were assembled incorrectly and may cause early hour water leaks.
ACTION REQUIRED
Inspect serial numbers on the following Reman Auxiliary Pumps:
20R7175
20R7176
If the 20R7175 and 20R7176 Reman Auxiliary Pumps have a 7 digit serial number (Image 1), they are acceptable to use. Mark the package as inspected per this program and return the pump back into dealer parts stock.
20R7175 and 20R7176 Reman Auxiliary Pumps with a 5 digit serial number must be further inspected.
The first three numbers of the serial number are the day the pump was built and the next two numbers are year in which pump was built (Image 2).
Pumps that were built between the 124th day of 2017 (12417) to the 149th day of 2018 (14918), remove the pumps from dealer parts stock.
Pumps that were built on or after 150th day of 2018 (serial numbers 15018 and after), they are acceptable to use. Mark the package as inspected per this program and return the pump back into dealer parts stock.
