Wrist watches and rings can also catch in moving machinery and should be avoided.2. Wear clothing that will keep you warm without restricting your movement. Cold hands or restrictive clothing could cause you to miss a vital control at a critical moment.3. Don't carry articles in shirt pockets unless the pockets are buttoned. The articles can fall out and onto moving machinery or electrical components.4. If you have long hair, keep it secured close to your body so it won't get caught in moving machinery. 5. Wear ear protection if working continuously on or near the machine while it is running. 6. Wear eye protection whenever handling fuels, solvents, hydraulic oil, brake fluids, or batteries. IF THESE FLUIDS SPLASH INTO YOUR EYES, THEY WILL DAMAGE YOUR EYES. 7. ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES when drilling, grinding or hammering metal, or when using an impact wrench. Flying metal particles from any of these operations can blind you instantly.8. Always wear eye protection when using compressed air for cleaning or drying. Never use more than 30 psi air pressure and never use compressed oxygen instead of compressed air.9. Wear a hard hat and safety shoes to protect your head and feet, when required.
