Location of the Master Display Mini (IQAN-MDM)The IQAN-MDM module consists of a display and six buttons. This module is located on the right switch panel in the front of the cab. The IQAN-MDM allows individual functions of the machine to be displayed. The IQAN-MDM allows you to adjust several implement functions. The IQAN-MDM monitors all of the input signals and all of the output signals.The IQAN-MDM allows the operator to obtain different machine information. The monitor can be used in order to adjust the hydraulic settings for the implement. The monitor can also be used for calibrating, testing and troubleshooting.Note: Most of the troubleshooting of the IQAN system and machine system can be performed with the use of the IQAN-MDM module.The IQAN-MDM is the hub of the CAN bus network. All of the expansion modules communicate with the IQAN-MDM on twisted pairs of CAN bus wires throughout the machine. All input information from the modules is communicated back to the IQAN-MDM in order to be evaluated. Location of IQAN-XP2 ModulesThe two IQAN-XP2 modules are the top two modules that are located on the front side of the fuel tank.The two IQAN-XP2 modules change the CAN bus signals of the IQAN-MDM module into analog signals. Location of IQAN-XT2 ModuleThe IQAN-XT2 module is the bottom module that is located on the front side of the fuel tank.The IQAN-XT2 module changes the CAN bus signals of the IQAN-MDM module into analog signals. The modules then send the signals to the corresponding components of the machine.The IQAN-XT2 module also serves as a link between the IQAN proprietary CAN bus and the J1939 CAN communications from the engine ECM. All information such as engine speed, air temperature, fluid temperature, and error codes that is communicated from the engine ECM is sent to the IQAN-XT2 module. IQAN-LX JoysticksThe control signal from the IQAN-LX joysticks is proportional to the working range of the joystick. The control signal is transferred internally from the IQAN-LX joystick via the CAN bus to the IQAN-MDM module. The control signal's data is processed in the IQAN-MDM module. Then, an output signal is sent to an IQAN-XP2 module.Each basic joystick has four analog proportional inputs and seven digital inputs. Two of the analog inputs are occupied by the "X" motion and the "Y" motion of the joystick. The other two analog inputs are routed externally from the joystick.
