Remove the seat and the floor panel. The weight of the seat is 64 kg (141 lb).

Disconnect the linkages for brake control pedal (3) and (5) from the control valve.
Disconnect the linkages for steering control lever (2) and (4) from the control valve.
Disconnect the linkage for parking brake control lever (1) from the control valve.
Remove hose clip (6) .

Be sure the control valve and the main case are free of dirt or debris before the control valve is removed from the machine.
Fasten Tooling (A) and a hoist to control valve (8). Remove four bolts (7) and the washers. Remove steering clutch and brake control valve (8) from the main case. The weight of the steering clutch and brake control valve is 43 kg (95 lb). During installation, tighten four bolts (7) to a torque of 55 7 N m (41 5 lb ft).

Remove plate (10). Remove six O-ring seals (9) from each side of plate (10). During installation, use 1U-6396 O-ring Assembly Compound to hold 12 O-ring seals (9) in position on plate (10) .
If necessary, remove two spring pins (11) from plate (10) .
