1. Turn the fuel supply valve to the off position.2. Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2) from the fuel tank.3. Fasten a hoist to the fuel tank lifting eyes (7).4. Remove the bolts, two washers (4) and four mountings (3) from the bracket assembly.5. Remove the bolts and cap (6) from each side of fuel tank (5). Remove the fuel tank from the machine. The weight of an empty fuel tank is 896 kg (1971 lb.). The following steps are for installation of the fuel tank.6. Fasten a hoist to the fuel tank. Put fuel tank (5) in position on the machine, and install caps (6) and the bolts that hold them on each side of the fuel tank.7. Put two mountings (3) in position on both sides of the bracket, and install the bolts and washers (4). Hose assembly (1) is from the primary fuel filter. Hose assembly (2) is from the fuel pressure regulating valve.8. Connect hose assemblies (1) and (2) to the fuel tank.9. Turn the fuel supply on.
