To prevent possible personal injury, make sure the pressure in the air system is zero before any air lines are disconnected.
2. Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2) from the air reservoir. 3. Disconnect hose assemblies (4) and (7) from air reservoir (3).4. Disconnect hose assembly (6) from the valve assembly.5. Fasten a hoist to air reservoir (3). Remove the nuts, washers and U-bolts (5), and remove reservoir (3). The weight of the air reservoir is 157 kg (346 lb.). The following steps are for installation of the air reservoir.6. Fasten a hoist to air reservoir (3). Put the air reservoir in position on the platform, and install two U-bolts (5) and the washers and nuts that hold it in place.7. Connect hose assembly (6) from the air reservoir to the valve assembly.8. Connect hose assembly (7) from the brake relay valve to air reservoir (3).9. Connect hose assembly (4) from the air starter relay to the air reservoir.10. Connect hose assembly (2) from the air dryer to the air reservoir.11. Connect hose assembly (1) from the No. 1 port on the cab to the air reservoir.
