Swing piston pump (3) Adjustment screw for the positive flow control
To adjust the actuation pressure setting, turn the adjustment screw for the positive flow control (3). Turn the adjustment screw for the positive flow control (3) clockwise in order to decrease the actuation pressure. Turn the adjustment screw for the positive flow control (3) counterclockwise in order to increase the actuation pressure.Note: Always make pressure adjustments on the pressure rise.Swing Pump Destroke Pressure

Disconnect the brake release line (1). Plug the swing signal line. Leave the brake port open to the atmosphere. The swing brake may also be disabled by disconnecting the solenoid valve for the swing parking brake.
Install an 6V-7830 Pressure Gauge on test port (1) on the swing pump.

Install a 6V-3965 Fitting As in the "M1" port (5) on the swing pump.
Install a 6V-7830 Pressure Gauge on the nipple that is installed in step 3.
Disconnect the line for the swing pilot pressure (3) from the swashplate actuator of the swing pump. Plug the line. Install a test tee on the port for the positive flow control of the swing pump regulator.

Connect a test hose to the test tee that is installed in step 5. Connect the other end of the test hose to the test port for high pilot pressure (6) at the pilot system filter.
Start the engine.
Warm the oil to a minimum temperature of 50 °C (122 °F). Refer to the Testing and Adjusting, "General Information" for the proper procedure for warming the hydraulic oil.
Set the throttle switch to position 1.
Slowly move the swing lever. Initially, the reading on the pressure gauge for the "M1" pressure should read 0 kPa (0 psi). As the pressure gauge for the swing system pressure begins to show an increase in pressure, watch the pressure gauge for the "M1" pressure.
If the "M1" port pressure begins to increase before reaching the swing system pressure of 13500 kPa (1960 psi), turn the horsepower control screw (4) counterclockwise. This will cause the pump to begin destroking at a higher swing system pressure.
If the "M1" port pressure begins to increase after reaching the pump discharge pressure of 14500 kPa (2100 psi), turn the horsepower control screw (4) clockwise. This will cause the pump to begin destroking at a lower swing system pressure.Note: Always make pressure adjustments on the pressure rise.
After completion of the steps for adjustment of the destroking pressure, reconnect the brake release line to the swing parking brake. Reconnect the solenoid valve for the swing parking brake. Reconnect the brake release line (1) .High Pressure Cut Setting

Disconnect the brake release line (1) for the swing parking brakes at the left swing drive. Plug the brake release line but leave the
