COVER-DASH 3844250 - Caterpillar

1. Remove the side guard assembly (not shown) from the left side of the machine. 2. Use tool (A) to remove oil filter (1). 3. Remove clip (5).4. Disconnect tube assemblies (4) and (6) from the cylinder block.5. Remove the tube assemblies from oil filter base (3).6. Remove bolts (2). Remove oil filter base (3).Install Oil Filter Base
1. Make sure the O-ring seals are in position on oil filter base (1).2. Put oil filter base (1) in position on the engine oil cooler. Install the bolts that hold it. 3. Make sure the gaskets and the O-ring seals are in position on tube assemblies (2) and (5). Install the tube assemblies.4. Install clip (4).5. Put clean engine oil on the gasket of oil filter (3). Install the oil filter. Tighten the filter 1/2 turn after the gasket makes contact with the oil filter base.
