Avoid prolonged skin contact with isopropyl alcohol. Avoid breathing the vapors in enclosed areas without adequate ventilation and do not smoke.Isopropyl alcohol is flammable. Do not use near open flame, welding operations, or around heated surfaces exceeding 482°C (900°F).
Surface preparation is important in the installation of films. The surface must be clean and dry in order for the films to adhere to the machine. Be sure that oil, grease, and dirt have been removed before you install the new films. The installation instructions that follow are recommended:
A 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water is generally an adequate cleaning agent for cleaning the mounting surface.
Apply solvent to the contact area. Wipe the surface with a lint free cloth until the surface is dry.
Carefully remove the liner from the back of the film. Avoid touching the adhesive.

Typical example
Apply the film to the surface underneath the existing film that contains the machine model number on both sides of machine. Ensure that the upper corner of the film intersects the edge of the plate shown in Illustration 27.Note: The film cannot be repositioned once the film is applied. If the film is installed incorrectly, the film must be removed and discarded. Start again and use a new film.
Press the film firmly into place. Apply pressure evenly across the entire surface of the film. The use of a hand roller or a squeegee is recommended to ensure maximum adhesion to the mating surface. Remove any bubbles that remain under the film.Software Installation
Ensure that the 460-5343 Joystick Control Group (Right-Hand Joystick), is already installed on the machine. If changing the control group is necessary, refer to Special Instruction, REHS8704 for installation instructions.The 421-0263 High Flow Kit must be configured using Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET) Service Tool.Machine Configuration
With the key in the on position and engine off, use Cat ET to select the machine ECM.

From the menu, select "Service", "Configuration", and then "Implement Configuration".

In the configuration screen, double-click on the "Auxiliary Hydraulic High Flow System Installation Status" link.

In the pop-up window, change the "New Value" field to "Installed" and click "OK".
Turn the start key to the off position and wait at least 15 seconds. Then, turn the start key back to the on position.Note: The new feature will be activated on the next power cycle.
From the Cat ET menu, select "Service", then "Configuration", and then "Implement Configuration".

In the configuration screen, double-click on the "Auxiliary Hydraulic High Flow System Installation Status" link. Ensure that the feature is set to "Installed".
