Release system pressure.
Engage steering frame lock.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Drain the hydraulic oil from the hydraulic tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manualfor the correct procedure for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Raise machine and place on suitable cribbing.

Disconnect hose assemblies (3).
Disconnect harness assemblies (4).
Remove bolts (1) and reposition plate assembly (2).

Remove bolts (5).

Attach a suitable lifting device to support assembly (6). The weight of support assembly (6) is approximately 200 kg (441 lb).
Remove bolts (7) and support assembly (6).

Remove bolts (8) and final drive motor assembly (9). Installation Procedure
Install final drive motor assembly (2) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (8).
Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 15 3 N m (133 27 lb in).
