The following test is used to test the torque converter outlet oil pressure.Specifications

(3) Spacers
At pressure tap (1), remove the plug. Install an adapter, a nipple assembly, and a hose group.
Connect a pressure gauge to the hose.
Do not keep the torque converter in a stall condition for long periods of time. Damage could occur in the torque converter, the engine, and the brakes.
The pressures in this procedure are for a machine in third speed forward, with activated brakes, with installed axle shafts, and with the torque converter in a stall condition. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Torque Converter Stall Test (3FWD) - Test" for additional information.
Refer to Table 1for the correct pressure on the gauge at pressure tap (1).Adjustment Procedure
Add spacers (3) or remove spacers (3) in order to adjust the pressure. Refer to Table 2 for the correct spacers.

(1) Result of the addition of one spacer or the removal of one spacer to the valve.
When this test is complete, place the transmission shift lever in NEUTRAL. Engage the parking brake and stop the engines. Remove the test equipment.
