Information:
Machine Preparation
Park on a level surface and chock the wheels.
Apply the service brake to stop the machine. Move the transmission control lever to the NEUTRAL position.
Move the speed control lever to the LOW IDLE position.
Engage the parking brake.
Lower all attachments to the ground.
Stop the engine.
Operate all hydraulic controls through all positions to relieve hydraulic pressure. Repeat this step until all hydraulic pressure is released.
Turn the engine start switch to OFF position and remove the ignition key.
Turn battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.Rework Procedure

Remove covers in front of cab. Retain all parts for assembly.

Locate the 24-pin connector on the front of the cab, connector RV-C6. Refer to Schematic , KENR6663 for details. Remove the protective cap from the connector.
Turn on the battery disconnect switch and turn the ignition switch to the run position. Do not start the machine.Use a multi-meter to check for voltage at pin 1. Voltage should be 24V.
If voltage is present, turn the engine ignition switch off. Return the battery disconnect switch to the Off position. Proceed to step 3.
If voltage is not present, turn the engine ignition switch off. Return the battery disconnect switch to the Off position.

Working inside the cab, remove the four screws that retain the dash and tilt the component forward without disconnecting the wiring harnesses.
Locate pin 44 on the 70-pin connector behind the dash. The connector is located in the upper left corner of the cab front panel, connector P-C50. Reference Schematic , UENR1295 or RENR9024 for more details. Working inside the cab, splice between this connection and pin 1 of the 24-pin connector that was previously checked, connector RV-C6.
Reassemble the dash and proceed to step 3.

Route switch harness as (12) as shown. Connect the end of switch harness as (12) to the front of the cab in the location shown. Use two washers (4), two bolts (5), two clips (8), and one cable strap (2) to secure the switch harness as (12).

Use five cable straps (2) to secure switch harness as (12). Use an additional cable strap (2) to secure the terminating resistor to the switch harness as (12).

Use the existing boss and hardware, secure switch harness as (12) using clip (11). Use two cable straps (2) to secure the switch harness as (12).

Attach angle sensor assembly (10) to tube (9) using two bolts (3), two nuts (1), and four washers (7).
Attach this assembly to the front frame in the location and orientation shown in above. Using two bolts (6) and two washers (4). Use three cable straps (2) to secure switch harness as (12).
Connect switch harness as (12) to angle sensor as (10) in the location shown.
Inspect the switch harness as installation for any possible rubs or damage. Adjust the switch harness as installation as needed. Ensure all zip ties are tight and trimmed.
Install the covers removed in Step 1. Apply thread locker to all bolts prior to reassembly.
