The CB-334E Vibratory Compactor is a double drum machine. The CB-335E Vibratory Compactor is a combination machine with a drum at the front and four tires at the rear. These Machines are particularly useful in confined areas because larger machines cannot maneuver.Each model has two options for engines. Machines can be equipped with a three cylinder engine or the machines can be equipped with a four cylinder engine. The machines with the three cylinder engine are built for the Japanese market. The machines with the four cylinder engine are available throughout the rest of the world.The machines with the three cylinder engine are powered by a Caterpillar C1.5 engine. The C1.5 is a three cylinder diesel engine with a gross power rating of 24.4 kW (32.7 hp). The machines with the four cylinder engine are powered by a Caterpillar 3024C engine. The 3024C is a four cylinder diesel engine with a gross power rating of 34 kW (46 hp). Both of the engines meet the United States EPA Tier II engine emission requirements, and the European Union Stage II engine emission requirements.The standard CB-334E Vibratory Compactor weighs 3960 kg (8730 lb). The standard CB-335E Vibratory Compactor weighs 3670 kg (8092 lb).
