Rework ProcedureInspection
Inspect the wiring harness in order to determineif the cab harness was clamped correctly. Refer to Illustration 2. If thecab harness is clamped correctly, no further rework is required.

If the cab harness is not correctly clamped, inspectthe cab harness for damage. If the cab harness is not damaged, proceedto the Cab Harness Clamping Procedure. If the cab harness is damaged, determineif only the wire insulation is damaged or if the wire is damaged. If onlythe wire insulation is damaged, proceed to the Wire Repair section. Ifthe wire is damaged, refer to the Cab Harness Replace section.
Cab Harness Clamping Procedure
Remove the lunch box.
Clamp the cab harness at four points by using4 7K-1181 Straps. Refer to the illustration shown below.
Install the lunch box.
Wire Repair
In order to repair the wire insulation, wrap thedamaged insulation with 1P-0810 Tape. Then perform the Cab Harness ClampingProcedure.Cab Harness Replace
If the wire is damaged, replace the 2595223/">259-5223 HarnessAssembly with a new 2595223/">259-5223 Harness Assembly.
Turn off the disconnect switch.
Remove the lunch box.
Record the cab harness routing, connecting terminal,strap point and connecting.

Rework ProcedureInspection
