Under Operator Platform (1) Blade valveBlade valve (1) is located at the front of the machine, under the operator platform.Blade valve (1) is a solenoid operated control valve that directs hydraulic oil from the fan pump to the blade hydraulic cylinder. The blade control valve operates in one of the following modes:
FLOAT
LOWER
HOLD
RAISE

Blade Valve (1) Blade valve (2) Solenoid "B" (3) Shock relief valve (4) Dead engine blade lower valve (5) Solenoid "A" (6) Main relief valveBlade valve (1) is controlled by solenoid "A" (5) and solenoid "B" (2). These solenoids direct supply oil from the fan pump to shift the valve spool. The position of the valve spool determines what mode the valve is operating in.Blade valve (1) is equipped with main relief valve (6). This valve maintains the differential pressure available at the blade vale to 5500 300 kPa (800 44 psi). The main relief valve ensures that oil is available to the charge circuit when the blade is stalled.Shock relief valve (3) limits the maximum pressure in the head end of the blade cylinder to 6600 300 kPa (960 44 psi). This valve protects the hydraulic cylinder from overpressure when an obstruction forces the blade upwards.The dead engine blade lower valve (4) is a manually operated valve that opens a path from the rod end of the blade cylinder to the charge system. This valve allows the operator to lower the blade to the ground when the engine is not operating.

Right Side of Machine (7) Blade controllerBlade controller (7) is located under the operator platform, on the right side of blade valve (1) .Blade controller (7) is an electronic module that transmits electronic signals to the solenoid valves on blade valve (1). The blade controller receives commands via the CAN from the blade controls on the propel lever.
