1. Remove cotter pin (1) and the washer, and disconnect prop assembly (2) from the hood.2. Remove four bolts (3) that fasten the rear of the front hood assembly. 3. Install tooling (A) and fasten a hoist. Use some wire to secure the hood to the hand rail as shown. Remove the bolts at the front of hood assembly (4) that fasten it to radiator guard (5). Remove the front hoods and handrail as a unit. The weight of the unit is 145 kg (320 lb.). 4. Drain some coolant from the radiator until the level is below elbows (6) and (8).5. Remove elbows (6) and (8) from the radiator top tank.6. Remove both halves of fan guard (7) from the radiator. 7. Fasten a nylon strap and a hoist to the fan. Remove the bolts that fasten the fan to adapter (10) and carefully set the fan in the radiator.8. Remove the bolts that fasten adapter (10) to the pulley hub and remove adapter (10).9. Carefully, remove fan (9) from the radiator. The weight of the fan is 60 kg (130 lb.).10. Install the fan and fan guard in the reverse order of removal.11. Fill the radiator with coolant to the proper level. See the Maintenance Guide.
