Press hydraulic tank breaker relief valve (3) in order to relieve the hydraulic tank pressure.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Tools and Shop Products Guide" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Slowly remove four bolts (2) from filter cover (1).
Inspect the filter cover and the O-ring. If either part is damaged, replace the part.

Remove screen (5).
Remove three hydraulic return filters (4).
Wash the screen in clean, nonflammable solvent. Inspect the screen for damage. Replace the screen if the screen is damaged.
Replace the used filters with new filters.
Install filter cover (1) with four bolts (2).
Close the hood.
