Press the hydraulic tank breaker relief valve in order to relieve any tank pressure.

(1) Case drain oil filter for the felling head
(2) Case drain oil filter for the hydraulic system
Clean the area in order to keep dirt out of the filter base.
Remove the used case drain filters from the filter base. Note: This element is a cartridge type filter. The element cannot be reused.Note: Dispose of used filters according to local regulations.
Clean the filter bases.

Coat the seal of a new case drain filter with clean hydraulic oil. Install the new case drain filter in the filter base. Tighten the case drain filter hand tight.
Drive the machine slowly for 10 to 15 minutes. Move each cylinder evenly through several cycles.
Park the machine on level ground. Lower the felling head to the ground.
Stop the engine.

Maintain the oil level in the low temperature range (B) for a cold machine. Maintain the oil level in the high temperature range (A) for a machine that is at a normal operating temperature.
Press hydraulic tank breaker relief valve (2) in order to relieve any tank pressure.
Remove filler cap (1) in order to add oil, if necessary.
Close the hood.
