Remove bracket assembly (1) for modification, save hardware for reuse. If bracket assembly (1) has failed, discard and replace with the same part number.

Fabricate strut (2) using 6 mm (0.24 inch) thick plate as shown in Illustration 4 and Illustration 5.

Attach strut (2) to modified bracket assembly (1) using one bolt (3), two washers (4) and one nut (5). Attach the other end of strut (2) to rear cover as shown in Illustration 6. Replace existing bolt with one bolt (3) and one washer (4).
