HOSE AS 3079007 - Caterpillar

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to cab (25). The weight of cab (25) is approximately 1043 kg (2300 lb).
Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to position cab (25) to the machine.

Connect grounding strap (31). Tighten the nut that holds grounding strap (31) to a torque of 60 12 N m (44 9 lb ft).
Install bolts (30). Tighten bolts (30) to a torque of 850 100 N m (630 75 lb ft).

Install storage box (29) to the cab.

Install cover (28) .

Install cover (27) and position mat (26) .
Repeat Step 8 for opposite side of the cab.

Connect harness assembly (23) .
Connect air conditioner hose assemblies (22) .
Connect clips (24) that hold air conditioner hose assemblies (22) and harness assembly (23) to the cab.

Connect harness assemblies (20) and (19) .
Connect the hose assemblies to steering metering pump (21) and service brake control valve (18) .

Connect hoses (17) .

Connect cable assembly (16) and tighten nut (15) to a torque of 38 7 N m (28 5 lb ft).
Install pin (14) .

Connect air conditioner hose assemblies (13) and (11) .
Connect clip (12) .
Connect heater hose assemblies (10) .

Connect harness assemblies (9) and (7) .
Connect harness assembly (6) and install all the clips that secure harness assembly (6) to the cab.
Connect hose assemblies (8) .
Connect hose assembly (5) and hose assembly (4) .

Position cover (2) and install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 15 3 N m (11 2 lb ft).
Charge the air conditioner refrigerant to the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134A Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
