Removal Procedure
Open the left side access door.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove negative cable assemblies (2) from batteries (4) and (5).
Remove positive cable assemblies (1) from batteries (4) and (5).
Remove the nut, the washer, and battery hold down (3).
Use two people to remove batteries (4) and (5). The weight of the batteries is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Remove batteries (4) and (5). Installation Procedure
Install batteries (4) and (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten positive cable assemblies (1) and negative cable assemblies (2) to a torque of 7.2 1.6 N m (64 14 lb in).
