Note: Referring to the reference information for the machine being worked on, relieve hydraulic system pressure and raise the operator cab.

View A-A (1) Brake Charge Solenoid Valve
Locate Brake Charge Solenoid Valve (1). The solenoid is mounted on the upper face of the main control valve.
Disconnect the electrical harness and remove the solenoid coil and valve assembly from the control valve body.
Remove the existing 421-6527 Orifice Plug from the cavity the solenoid is screwed into using a 4mm extended reach hexagon key wrench.
Install the 106-9421 Orifice Plug and tighten to 5.25 0.25 N m (46.5 2.2 lb in).
Reinstall the solenoid cartridge section of the brake charge solenoid. Tighten to 46 3 N m (407 26.5 lb in).
Reinstall the solenoid coil. Torque the securing nut to 8 1 N m (70.8 8.8 lb in).
Reconnect the electrical harness.

(2) Pressure test taps

(3) Plug
Locate plug (3) between the two pressure test taps (2) on the front face of the control valve.
Remove the plug.
Remove the existing 421-6528 Orifice Plug from the valve using a 5mm extended reach hexagon key wrench.
Install the new 464-3752 Orifice Plug. Tighten to 5.25 0.25 N m (46.5 2.2 lb in).
Reinstall the plug. Tighten to 45 7 N m (398 62 lb in)Note: For parts service for 725C, 730C, and 730C Ejector Articulated Trucks, the 437-1480 Combination Valve Gp has been canceled and is replaced by 463-6332 Combination Valve Gp. The new orifices are effective in the 463-6332 Combination Valve Gp .
