start by:a) remove vibration damper and pulley1. Drain the oil from the engine.2. Loosen the bolts that hold the oil pan in position.3. Put metal spacers between the oil pan plate and the engine block to prevent damage to the oil pan when the front of the engine is lifted. 4. Put tooling (A) in position as shown under the spacers.5. Remove two bolts (3) and two nuts. Loosen the bolts that hold the rear of the engine to the brackets.6. Lift the front of the engine with tooling (A). Remove four bolts (1). Remove front support (2).Install Front Support
1. Put the front support (1) in position on the trunnion. Install the four bolts that hold it.2. Lower the engine on to the frame. Remove tooling (A).3. Put SAE 30 oil on the threads of the bolts and install the two bolts and nuts that hold the front support to the frame. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 540 55 N m (400 40 lb. ft.).4. Tighten the bolts on the rear of the engine to a torque of 540 55 N m (400 40 lb. ft.).5. Remove the spacers from between the oil pan plate and the engine block.
