Clean Filter
Recirculating Air Filter
Clean filter more often in dusty conditions. 1. Remove the filter cover located behind the operator's seat in the cab.2. Remove the filter element. Clean the filter element with pressure air or wash the elements in warm water and a nonsudsing household detergent.3. Rinse in clean water and air dry thoroughly.4. Install the filter element. Install the cover.Change Filter
Fresh Air Filter
Change filter more often in dusty conditions. 1. Open the cover in the rear of the cab. 2. Remove the filter element. Install clean filter.3. Close the cover.Clean Air Conditioner Coil (If Equipped)
1. Open the access cover located under the operator's seat.2. Clean the coil. Use a vacuum cleaner, if necessary.3. Install the access cover.Bucket Pivot
Lubricate Fittings
Wipe all fittings before lubricating. Lubricate one fittings on each side of the bucket. Total of two fittings.Lift Arm Linkage
Lubricate Fittings
Wipe all fittings before lubricating. Lubricate three fittings on the left side of the machine. Lubricate three fittings on the right side of the machine.Total of six fittings.Multipurpose Bucket
Lubricate Fittings
Lubricate three fittings on each side of the multipurpose bucket. Total six fittings.Tires
Check Inflation Pressure
Measure the tire air pressure on each tire. Consult your Caterpillar dealer for correct load rating and operating pressures. Inflate the tires, if necessary. See "Tire Inflation Information" section of this manual.
