Use a hoist and a suitable lifting device in order to connect outer accumulator arm (6) to inner accumulator arm (2). The approximate weight of each accumulator arm is 50 kg (110 lb).
Personal injury or death can result from lifting a heavy component.The heavy component can fall if using an incorrect hoist and/or sling or fastener to lift the load.Be sure the hoist and other devices have the correct lifting capacity to lift a heavy component. The approximate weight of the heavy component is given below.

Install pivot pin (14) into the accumulator arm.
Install nut (16) and washer (15) onto pivot pin (14). Torque nut (16) until a clearance between inner accumulator arm (2) and outer accumulator arm (6) is 1 .5 mm (.04 .02 inch).

Install bolt (11) into inner accumulator arm (2) .
Install nut (13) and washer (12) onto bolt (11) .

Install pin (5) into inner accumulator arm (2) .Note: Prior to completely installing pin (5), position rubber band (10) into inner accumulator arm (2) .

Install bolt (1) into inner accumulator arm (2) .
Install nut (4) and washer (3) onto bolt (1). This will lock pin (5) into inner accumulator arm (2) .

Install pin (8) into outer accumulator arm (6) .Note: Prior to completely installing pin (8), position rubber band (10) into outer accumulator arm (6). Install rubber band (10) onto pin (8). This procedure will require two people. One person will hold the accumulator arm open and one person will hold the rubber band (10) in position while pin (8) is placed into outer accumulator arm (6) .

Push on outer accumulator arm (6) in order to expose the location for nut (7), pin (8), and rubber band (10) .
Install bolt (9) into pin (8) and outer accumulator arm (6) .
Install nut (7) and the washer onto bolt (9) .
