Follow the recommended procedure for removal and installation of tires and or wheel assemblies.Ensure that the machine and tire and or wheel assembly are properly supported at all times.Improper procedures that are used to remove and install tires and or wheel assemblies can result in personal injury or death.
Put wood blocks in front of the front tires and behind the front tires of the machine.

Raise the rear of the machine until the rear tires are off of the floor. Position Tooling (A) under the rear axle, as shown. Adjust Tooling (A) in order to hold the rear tires of the machine off of the floor.
Rotate the upper structure in order to provide clearance for the removal and the installation of the rear tire and rim.

Completely deflate the tires.
Remove eight lug nuts (1) and the lockwashers that hold the front tire and rim in position. Do not remove the top nor the bottom lug nuts (1) at this time.

Remove two screws (2) .
Install Tooling (B), as shown. Remove the remaining two lug nuts (1) .

Fasten a lifting strap to tire ring (3). Tire ring (3) is used between the inner tire and rim and the outer tire and rim. Fasten an appropriate lifting device to the lifting strap. Apply slight lifting tension to tire ring (3) .
Position the forks of a lift truck beneath outer tire and rim (4), as shown. Fasten the outer tire and rim to the lift truck with Tooling (C). Remove the outer tire and rim from the front axle. The weight of the outer tire and rim is approximately 93 kg (205 lb).

Remove tire ring (3). The weight of the tire ring is approximately 32 kg (70 lb).

Fasten a lifting strap to inner tire and rim (5), as shown. Fasten an appropriate lifting device to the lifting strap. Remove the inner tire and rim from the front axle. The weight of the inner tire and rim is approximately 93 kg (205 lb).

Remove Tooling (B). Remove spacer ring (6) from each lug bolt (7) .
