Assembly Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear and damage. Replace the O-ring seals, if necessary.

Position housing (11) in oil pan assembly (2). Install the washers and bolts (16).
Install O-ring seals (13) on tube (12).
Insert tube (12) into housing (11).
Position oil drain plug (14) and the gasket on oil pan assembly (2). Install bolts (15).

Install screen assembly (5). Install O-ring seals (6) on oil screen handle (7). Install oil screen handle (7).
Inspect and install O-ring seal (8) on cover (10). Position cover (10) on oil pan assembly (2) and install the washers and bolts (9).

Install integral seal (4) on oil pan assembly (2). Connect oil pan (1) to oil pan assembly (2) and install the washers and bolts (3). End By:
Install the engine oil pan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Oil Pan - Install".
