Follow the instruction on the monitor screen to:
Calibrate the weight of an empty bucket. Gradually raise and swing the bucket at least 90 degrees to simulate truck loading. Each calibration requires five cycles to complete the "Bucket Zero Adjustment" calibration. The following table details the possible failure messages that can be logged. The list is accompanied by suggested operations for correcting the failures.
Table 3
Log Failed Message Reason / Required Operation
Boom is too high. Retry this cycle from the initial position.
- Start Boom Operation from lower position.
- Raise Boom more slowly.
Swing operation time is too short. Retry this cycle from the initial position.
- Maintain swing speed over a slower and longer cycle.
Bucket is not level. Retry this cycle from the initial position.
- Maintain the bucket angle similar to loading operation (Carry position).
Boom operation is too slow. Calibration cycle has timed out.
Retry this cycle from the initial position
- Raise Boom more quickly.
- Start Boom operation from a lower position. Simple Calibration
Simple calibration will adjust the system calibration to match a reference scale. Simple calibration can be performed on as few as 1 or as many as 15 trucks. The more trucks used, the better the calibration is fine-tuned. The recommended minimum number of trucks for most applications is 5.When performing a Simple Calibration, record the following:
The weight of the trucks at the scale house.
The weight that is displayed by the scale system for the trucks.
A recent tare weight of the trucks being used for the simple calibration.

The "Bucket Payload" is adjusted from the next bucket load.Note: The simple calibration update cannot be performed unless the operator presses the store button after each truck load. The simple calibration truck list remains when the machine is keyed to the OFF position. When performing a simple calibration keep the following information in mind:
A new simple calibration erases all prior simple calibrations.
