Install the cartridge pin with the mark (X) on the outside of the track roller frame. Position the mark (X) to the top or to the bottom of the vertical centerline.

Install Tooling (F) and install cartridge pins (14) in the major bogie. Install the cartridge pin in the major bogie sufficiently in order to allow the plate and the retaining ring to be installed.

Install rubber stopper (15) to 3.0 1.0 mm (0.118 0.039 inch) below the surface of the pins.
Add 60 3 cc of Tooling (J) to cartridge pins (14).
Install plug (13) in the end of each rubber stopper.
Install plugs (16) in each side of the track roller frame.
Install plate (12) in each side of the track roller frame.
Use Tooling (D) to install retaining ring (11) on each side of the track roller frame.
Repeat Steps 5 through 14 for the remainder of the major bogies.
Illustration 6 g00767284Note: The minor bogie must be installed with the part number or the words THIS SIDE OUT toward the outside of the major bogie.
Position minor bogie (10) in the major bogie.
Apply Tooling (H) to the bores of the major bogie and to the bores of the minor bogie.

Install the cartridge pin with the mark (X) on the outside of the track roller frame. Position the mark (X) to the top or to the bottom of the vertical centerline.
Use Tooling (F) to install cartridge pins (8) in the major bogie and in the minor bogie. The cartridge pins must be level with the outside surface of the major bogie.
Install rubber stoppers (9) to 3.0 1.0 mm (0.118 0.039 inch) below the surface of the pins.
Add 60 3 cc of Tooling (J) to the cartridge pins.
Install plug (7) in the end of each rubber stopper.
Repeat Steps 16 through 21 for the remainder of the minor bogies.

Install track guides (5), the washers, and bolts (6) on the major bogies. Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 475 50 N m (350 37 lb ft).

Use a strap and a suitable lifting device in order to support track roller (4). Install the track roller on the minor bogie. Note: The single flange track roller weighs 88 kg (195 lb). The double flange track roller weighs 98 kg (215 lb).
Install caps (3), the washers, and bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 750 70 N m (550 50 lb ft). Note: Tighten the bolt on the abutment side first. "Tighten first" is stamped on caps (3).
Repeat Steps 24 and 25 for all of the other track rollers.
Install the track idlers. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Idler - Install" for the correct procedure.

Install Tooling (A) on the major bogies. Use a suitable lifting device in order to turn the track roller frame in the upright position.

If two bearings (1) were removed, install two new bearings in the sides of the track
