Measure the resistance between the contacts that are listed in Table 10.

NOT OK - All of the resistance measurements are greater than 5000 ohms. The coil cable has failed.Repair: Replace the coil cable.STOPTest Step 15. CHECK THE VOLTAGE AT THE ELECTRIC MAST
Disconnect the cable at the base of the electric mast.
Turn the disconnect switch and the disconnect switch to the ON position.
Turn the key start switch and the disconnect switch to the ON position.
Disconnect the harness connector (6) from the electronic control (3) .

Check for machine voltage between the following contacts on the 10-pin connector for the electric mast that are listed in Table 11.

Disconnect the coil cable from the knuckle connector.
