Disconnect wires (23), (34), and (28) from the electric starting motor. Disconnect wires (26) and (27) from the frame. Disconnect wire (25) from the engine.

Disconnect fuel line (29) from the fuel filter base.

Remove tube (30) .

Disconnect electrical connectors (31) and (32). Remove bolts (33), the washers, the clips, and the clamp.

Remove bolts (34) and the washers. slide cover (35) out of the way.
Disconnect electrical connector (36). Cut the wire tie that holds the wire, and move the wire out of the way.

Disconnect electrical connector (37) .

Remove bolts (38) and the washers. Slide cover (39) out of the way.
Disconnect electrical connector (40). Cut the wire tie that holds the wire, and move the wire out of the way.

Disconnect air conditioning line (41) from the refrigerant compressor.

Disconnect wires (42) from the horn. Move the wires out of the way.

Loosen hose clamps (44). Remove hose (45) .
Loosen the hose clamp that holds hose assembly (43). Disconnect hose assembly (43) from the water pump.

Loosen clamps (46). Remove tube (47) from the machine.
Remove clamp (49). Reposition hose (48) away from the engine.

Remove bolts (50) and (51) (not shown) and the washers. Move the hoses that are held by these bolts out of the way.

Install Tooling (A) on engine (52). Put slight lifting tension on engine (52) .
Remove mounting bolts (53). Remove engine (52) from the machine.
