Remove body assembly (4) from plate assembly (20).

Inspect two bearings (7) for wear or for damage. Note: The complete body assembly should be replaced if the bearings are worn beyond the gray teflon into the bronze material. Installation of new bearings into an old body assembly is not recommended . If two bearings (7) need to be replaced, use Tooling (A) and a suitable hydraulic press in order to remove the bearings from body assembly (4). Be careful not to damage or change the dimension of the bore.

If necessary, remove two dowels (5) from plate assembly (20).
Remove coupling (21) from plate assembly (20).

Use Tool (B) in order to remove retaining ring (23) (not shown) from coupling (21).

Remove eight O-ring seals (26) from eight studs (24). Remove O-ring seal (9) from plate assembly (20).
Remove plate assembly (20) from body assembly (25).

Remove O-ring seal (9) from plate assembly (20).
If necessary, remove two dowels (5) from plate assembly (20).

Remove ring retainer (15), top isolation plate (13), O-ring (14), backup ring (12) and pressure plate (16) from body assembly (25).

Remove drive shaft (27) and idler gear (17) from body assembly (25).
