Information:


Drain the engine coolant from the right side of the radiator into a suitable container. The right side of the radiator contains approximately 360 L (95.1 US gal) of coolant. Drain the engine coolant from the left side of the radiator into a suitable container. The left side of the radiator contains approximately 208 L (55 US gal) of coolant.

Loosen the hose clamps. Remove tubes (1) .
Remove bracket (2) of the fan guard.

Loosen the clamps. Move two hoses (4) downward in order to clear the elbows on the engine.
Disconnect four hose assemblies (5). There are two hose assemblies (5) for each hose (4) .
Disconnect ground strap (6) from the engine front support.
Remove bolts that hold electrical box (7) to the engine front support. Tie the electrical box in place while the support is removed.

Loosen the clamps on hose (8) .

Loosen the clamps on two hose assemblies (10) .

Remove bolts (11), the nuts, and the washers that fasten the trunnion to the engine front support.

Disconnect hose assemblies (12) from the bracket. Remove the fitting from the bracket.

Failure to follow the recommended procedure or the specified tooling that is required for the procedure could result in damage to components.To avoid component damage, follow the recommended procedure using the recommended tools.
Note: There is very little clearance between the fan blades, the fan guard, and the radiator. The various lines and hoses that are connected to the engine are not allowed to move very much. Pay attention to the clearances when the front of the engine is raised. Raise the engine enough for the removal of the support. As required, additional parts should be loosened or removed.
Remove bolts (13) and the bracket. Attach a suitable lifting device to the front engine lifting eye. Lift the front of the engine off the engine front support. The weight of the engine is approximately 8875 kg (19566 lb).

Remove the two bolts, the nuts, and the washers that connect engine front support (14) to the frame.
Attach a suitable lifting device to the engine front support. Raise the engine front support. Move the engine front support from the cradles on the side rails of the frame. Lower the engine front support to the ground. The weight of the engine front support is approximately 260 kg (573 lb).

Remove two mount assemblies (15). Remove sleeve (16) from the engine front support.
