Power Test Prodecure
Install tooling (A). Use Cat ET in order to perform the machine power output test.
Open the software program (ET) and check for active diagnostic codes. If there is an active diagnostic code, the diagnostic procedure will be stopped until the condition that caused the diagnostic code is corrected.

Select "Machine Power Test".

Click "Accept" to continue.
Make sure that there are no active diagnostics.
Warm hydraulic oil temperature to between 40° C (104° F) and 60° C (140° F).
Engage the implement lockout switch.
Move the direction switch to the neutral position.
Set the parking brake.
Completely depress the brake pedal.
Fully depress and hold the governor pedal.

The test may result in:
Low stall speed: which may be a result of engine performance is not correct, engine oil is cold, or hystat pump COR is not set correctly.
High stall speed in both directions: which may be a result of engine oil level, air in the oil, clutches slipping in the transmission, or mechanical issues with hystat pump.
High stall speed in one direction: which may be a result of a leak in the system.Power Test Troubleshooting
