(A) Pilot Hole 13 mm (0.51 inch) (1) 148-8364 Elbow As
Drill a pilot hole 13 mm (0.51 inch) diameter and 8 mm (0.31 inch) (A) into 148-8364 Elbow As (1) .

(B) Hole 9/16-18 NF thread (1) 148-8364 Elbow As
Tap the hole in 148-8364 Elbow As (1) with a 9/16-18 NF thread (B). Use a 1P-3032 Thread Tap .
Use suitable solvent in order to wash 148-8364 Elbow As (1) clean of all swarf and metal contamination.

Check 283-3462 Screen (2) fits into 148-8364 Elbow (1). Note: Ensure that the screen is below the surface of the elbow and that the end of the screen does not foul the inside of the elbow .

Remove 283-3462 Screen (2) from 148-8364 Elbow As (1). Apply Loctite 242 Tread Lock (Or Loctite 222) to the thread of the screen before fully installing the screen back into the elbow.Installation of Elbow

Locate 206-6816 Tube As (1) that diverts oil flow from parking brake supply line (A) to 207-0034 Main Control Valve Gp (2) .

(1) 206-6816 Tube As (2) 207-0034 Main Control Valve Gp (3) 148-8364 Elbow
On the rear of 207-0034 Main Control Valve Gp (2) disconnect 206-6816 Tube As (1) from the current 148-8364 Elbow (3) .
Remove current 148-8364 Elbow (3) and install the new 148-8364 Elbow with 283-3462 Screen. Reconnect 206-6816 Tube As (1) .

Remove current 224-9385 Sequence Valve Gp (4). Install a new 224-9385 Sequence Valve Gp .
