Park the machine on a level surface. Fully retract the boom and fully lower the boom. Move the transmission control to the NEUTRAL position and ensure that the parking brake is engaged.

Remove protective cap (1) that covers the adjusting screw (2) for the minimum capacity limiter on the piston motor. Discard the protective cap.

Measure the thread length (3) on adjusting screw (4) for the minimum displacement in order to ensure that the speed of the machine is within your desired speed range. Different minimum displacements require a different length of adjusting screw. See Table 2.

Loosen locknut (1) on adjusting screw (2) for the minimum capacity limiter.
Screw adjusting screw (2) fully clockwise to the limit of the minimum displacement of the piston motor.
Screw adjusting screw (2) counterclockwise until the required length (3) is obtained on the adjusting screw. Refer to Tables 2 and 3.

3.1 cc/Rev (.19 in 3/Rev)    Note: An increase in the motor displacement will result in a decrease in the shaft speed. A decrease in the motor displacement will result in a increase in the shaft speed.
When the desired minimum displacement is reached, tighten the locknut on the adjusting screw. Torque for the adjusting nut is 86 N m (63 lb ft).Note: Care must be taken when you are adjusting the angle of the swashplate in order to avoid undesirable speed range. You must torque the locknut after every adjustment in order to prevent an unexpected change in the operating range and external oil leakage during the machine operation.
Install a new protective cap.
