The configuration can be installed on the 375 L Excavator.The configuration uses a 14 ton counterweight, a 10.5 m special boom, a 5.5 m standard stick and a "H" family linkage.Do not use the machine in the following applications:* Do not use the machine to lift objects.* Do not use the machine with a grapple.* Do not use the machine with a hammer.* Do not put the front parts under tension by pulling, pushing, or swinging during digging.The configuration is designed for the use in specific applications.The maximum bucket size cannot exceed 2.3 m3.The configuration may be used at any height within the recommended working range. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Working Ranges". If any unauthorized applications are performed with the machine by the customer or the Caterpillar dealer, the warranty responsibilities from Caterpillar may be denied. Any claim on special applications will be reviewed by External Quality. Any questions concerning the warranty on the configuration must be handled between the Hydraulic Excavator Group in Gosselies, Belgium and the Caterpillar dealer.Safety Signs and Labels

The exact location and the description of most of them are described in the standard Operation and Maintenance Manual "Safety Section - Safety Signs and Labels". The specific safety signs for the material handling configuration are reviewed in this section.Make sure that all of the safety signs are legible. Clean the safety signs or replace the safety signs if you cannot read the words. Replace the illustrations if the illustrations are not visible. When you clean the safety signs, use a cloth, water and soap. Do not use solvent, gasoline, or other harsh chemicals to clean the safety signs. Solvents, gasoline, or harsh chemicals could loosen the adhesive that secures the safety sign. Loose adhesive will allow the safety sign to fall.Replace any safety sign that is damaged, or missing. If a safety sign is attached to a part that is replaced, install a safety sign on the replacement part. Any Caterpillar dealer can provide new safety signs.Tilting the Cab

DO NOT TILT CAB WHEN OCCUPIED. BEFORE TILTING CAB REMOVE ALL LOOSE ARTICLES FROM CAB, SECURE ALL WINDOWS AND EXITS, THEN CLOSE CAB AND CAB RISER DOORS. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE.

Illustration 3This warning is positioned inside the cab riser compartment access door on the front of the machine below the cab riser. This warning label is also located on the front access door on the left side of the machine. Stand away from the cab when the cab is being tilted for transportation or repair. There is no clearance for a person in this area. Severe injury or death from crushing could occur.
