Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to the torque converter and transmission (1). The weight of the torque converter and transmission (1) is approximately 907 kg (2000 lb). Use the suitable lifting device in order to connect the torque converter and transmission (1) to the engine. Position suitable cribbing under the torque converter and transmission (1), as shown.

Apply Tooling (C) to bolts (3). Install bolts (3). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 70 15 N m (52 11 lb ft). Connect harness assembly (2) .
Remove Tooling (B) and the suitable lifting device from the torque converter and the transmission.
