Torque nut (1) to 13500 700 N m (9960 520 lb ft). (2) Lubricate the inside diameter and the outside diameter with Tooling (F). (3) Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed. (4) Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed. Apply Tooling (E) to the groove before the cylinder is assembled. (5) ( 6) Use Tooling (G) to remove the sleeve bearings. Attach a suitable lifting device to stick cylinder (1). The weight of stick cylinder (1) is approximately 726 kg (1600 lb). Position stick cylinder (1) on the boom. Align the pin bore in stick cylinder (1) with the pin bores in the boom.Note: Use the shims to obtain a maximum clearance of 1.00 mm (0.039 inch).
Apply a thin coat of Tooling (F) on pin assembly (6). Install pin assembly (6), the shims, and bolt (7).

Connect hose assemblies (4) and (5).

Apply a thin coat of Tooling (F) on pin assembly (2). Install pin assembly (2), the shims, and bolt (3).
Remove the suitable lifting device from the tilt cylinder (1).
Remove Tooling (A).
Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check".
