Perform the following in order to access the Diagnotics screen from the Service Menu:
Use the appropriate Arrow button in order to highlight the Diagnostics option.
Press the "OK" button in order to access the Diagnostics screen. The Diagnostics screen shows a complete list of all active diagnostic codes and logged diagnostic codes. Each line on the list shows the following:
MID
CID
FMIThe display also shows the following:
Number of occurrences
The time (service hour) of the first occurrence
The time of the last occurrence of the code or event
The fact that the code is currently activePerform the following in order to access the codes and events from the Diagnotics screen:
Use the appropriate Arrow button to highlight a specific code (line on the list).
Press the "OK" button in order to display the line's detailed view. The detailed view will display a text message. The text message will include the following:
The reporting ECM (MID)
Identity of the component that has failed (CID)
An explanation of the failureNote: The codes and the events that are displayed in the Diagnostics option may be viewed at any time. Logged codes cannot be cleared until the technician has successfully entered the Four Digit Machine Password. Refer to Service Manual, RENR8344 for additional information.Messenger
Active Diagnostic codes and Logged Diagnostic codes can be viewed and Active Diagnostic codes and Logged Diagnostic codes can be cleared with the Messenger.Perform the following steps in order to view the Active Diagnostic codes and Logged Diagnostic codes:

From the Messenger Service Menu page, the first option in the service menu will be "Diagnostics/Events". Press "OK" in order to view the list of Active Diagnostic codes and Logged Diagnostic codes.

The Messenger Diagnostics/Events List screen shows the following: SRC - SourceCODE - MID, CID, FMI, EID and WCIOCC - The number of occurrences of the codesACT - The fact that the code is activePressing "OK" on any of these codes will display the Diagnostic/Event screen.Note: If the code is Active, there will be an "A" in the "ACT" column.
