1. Park machine on a hard, level surface. 2. Disconnect blade cylinders (1) from blade.3. Place blocks in front of lug pivot (2) under blade arms (both sides). Remove bolts (2A) from lug pivots.4. Making sure the blade cylinders (1) are out of the way and blade control valve is "off", back the machine up until blade is well away from drum.B. Front Scraper Removal
1. 410A, 510A with rubber pad scraper a. Attach hoist to front scraper assembly (3).b. Remove all four bolts (3A) and remove front scraper assembly (3) from yoke.c. Retain scraper shims (3B) for replacement at reassembly.2. 420A, 420C with bar type scraper a. Removal of scraper is the same as item one, a thru c of above except eight bolts are used.3. 320A, 420B with jaw type scraper a. Removal of scraper is the same as item one, steps a thru c, of above except eight bolts are used to mount scraper assembly.C. Vibratory Motor Removal
1. 320A a. Loosen hose connection jam nuts (4) on vibratory motor (5).b. Remove vibratory motor mounting bolts (5A) and pull motor straight out so motor shaft is out of coupling.c. Pull motor through access hole and let hang by attached hoses.2. 410A, 420A, 420B, 420C, 510A a. Vibratory motor removal is the same as in item one, steps a thru c, of above except that stud bolts and nuts are used to mount the motor and only stud nuts need be removed.D. Drum Drive Motor Valve Cover And Hose Removal
1. Remove drum drive motor dirt shield (6).2. Disconnect and plug three hoses (7) from drum drive motor.3. Remove manifold block (8) or fittings (10) for access to valve mounting bolt behind them.4. Mark valve housing (9) and motor case (12) to assure proper alignment at assembly. Remove five head bolts (9a) and take off valve housing. When taking valve housing from motor, remove timing coupling (9b) between valve and motor crankshaft and set it aside
