Parking Brake
Parking Brake - Raising this lever engages a driveline parking brake which prevents the machine from rolling forward or backward. Since this brake is located ahead of the differential steering unit, it does not prevent the machine from turning when the steering wheel is turned. Also, the drive train can overcome the braking force of the parking brake in the lower (high torque) gears. Always stop the engine and engage the parking brake before leaving the machine.
With the engine running, this machine spot turns when the steering wheel is turned, even with the transmission in NEUTRAL and the parking brake engaged. To avoid personal injury due to unexpected machine movement, make sure the area is free of personnel before starting the engine.DO NOT STEER when starting the engine. If machine does steer, stop the engine.
Parking Brake Engaged - Pull the lever up to engage the parking brake. The brake indicator light on the dash comes on with the engine start switch key in the ON position and the parking brake engaged. Parking Brake Released - Raise the lever slightly, push the button in and lower the handle to release the parking brake.Inching Clutch Pedal
Clutch Pedal - Depressing this pedal disengages the transmission from the engine. It is used to prevent engine stall during a stop. It also is used to provide a smooth initial movement from a stop, and fine control maneuvering during hookup to an implement.Use of the clutch is not required for shifting between gears while moving.Service Brake Pedal
Service Brake Pedal - Depressing this pedal applies equal braking torque to both rear drive wheels. Increasing pedal effort increases brake torque.Transmission Control Lever
Transmission Control Lever - Move the lever to the desired travel speed and direction. Align the front edge of lever with the desired gear number for forward speeds and the rear edge of the lever with gear number for reverse speeds. To shift the transmission to REVERSE, move the lever to the left side of the NEUTRAL slot. Pull the lever to the rear of the slot, then move it to the right to disengage the reverse lock.Governor Control Lever
Governor Control Lever - Push the lever forward to increase engine rpm. Pull the lever back to decrease the engine rpm.Decelerator Pedal
Decelerator Pedal - Push the pedal down to override the governor control and reduce the engine speed. When the pedal is released, the engine speed returns to the governor control setting.Steering Wheel
Steering Wheel - Turn steering wheel (1) in the direction the machine must turn. The operator must be in the seat facing forward, toward the steering wheel. Tilt Steering Wheel - Pull lever (2) towards the operator and
